Wellsite Manager

At PSI Energy Production Services, Wellsite Managers are team leaders in supervising and managing field and shop personnel. Responsibilities include the oversight and performance quality control for all direct operations of well flowback, upholding safety policies and operating procedures while efficiently and effectively completing field operations. Field operations include the responsibility for operating and maintaining equipment in a safe manner and to ensure job quality from start to completion. Wellsite Managers report directly to their respective Field Manager and Operations Manager.

The Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport crews
  • Ensure that all crew members are available and ready for daily operations
  • Ensure that all Environment, Health, and Safety training is current and applied
  • Testing and monitoring flowing wells and fluid transfers from producing wells
  • Accurately recording data in company designated format, including data entry required for the utilization of Fekete software
  • Maintain communication with company representatives and procure necessary paperwork
  • Lead by example to create a proactive and quality service environment
  • Assist in training flowback operators and assistants in field and shop operations
  • Perform proactive maintenance on flowback equipment to ensure that test packages are maintained in safe and proper working condition
  • Supervise the completion of job package data
  • Conduct pre-operation and shift change safety meetings
  • Oversee all rig-in responsibilities
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness on locations, shop, and company vehicles
  • Promptly report operation or equipment issues
  • Maintain daily safety and operation documents
  • Complete daily in-house and customer conference calls (if applicable)
  • Rigging-in and rigging-out equipment
  • Lifting and transportation of heavy equipment

The Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • 2 years minimum flowback experience
  • Extensive knowledge in operating all flowback equipment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Fekete software
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Organized, punctual, and detail oriented
  • Willingness to be flexible with schedules and tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
